Hari Konsumen: Jangan Mau Dijajah Asing
China terus mampu ekspor hingga surplus melonjak. Sebuah berita BBC, menyebutkan eskspor naik 48,3% dalam setahun (per Februari 2015) menjadi US$169,2 miliar, dan impor turun seperlimanya menjadi US$108,6 miliar.
Setelah AS, adalah ke Jepang (US$ 1,13 miliar), India (US$ 0,96 miliar).
(opini pribadi).

Cara Mengangkat Martabat Petani
Kedengarannya membanggakan, kita memiliki tanah ijo royo-royo.
Tapi sangat jarang anak-anak bercita-cita menjadi petani. Orang
menurun selama sepuluh tahun terakhir. Sensus Pertanian 2013 oleh Badan Pusat Statistik
mencatat jumlah rumah tangga usaha pertanian mencapai 26,14 juta.
2,49 juta rumah tangga menjadi 1,97 rumah tangga.
Penurunan terkecil terjadi pada subsektor kehutanan sebesar
0,66 persen dari 6,83 juta tahun 2003 menjadi 6,78 juta pada 2013.
Pada subsektor tanaman pangan turun 0,98 juta rumah tangga,
dari 18,71 juta pada 2003 menjadi 17,73 juta. Subsektor perkebunan turun 1,35
Subsektor perikanan turun 0,51 juta menjadi 1,98 juta rumah
tangga dari sensus pada 2003 sebanyak 2,49 juta. Teakhir, subsektor jasa
hektare. Menurut BPS, jumlah petani gurem pada 2013 sebesar 14,25 juta rumah
tangga, turun 4,22 juta dibandingkan Sensus 2003 sebanyak 19,02 juta.
sebanyak 10,18 juta rumah tangga, disusul Sumatera 1,81 juta rumah tangga,
Pulau Bali dan Nusa Tenggara 0,9 juta. Sedangkan
jumlah petani gurem terkecil berada di Pulau Kalimantan
sebanyak 0,28 juta rumah tangga.
Meskipun jumlah petani menurun, tapi mereka masih mayoritas
dibandingkan profesi lain di Indonesia. Pada 2013, jumlah pekerja di bidang
prtanian, prkebunan, kehutanan, perburuan dan perikanan sebanyak 39, 9 juta
jiawa.
Sedangkan 7,32 juta
petani berusia 45 sampai 54 tahun atau sebesar 28,03 persen. Hanya 3,12 juta petani atau 11,98 persen berusia 25 tahun
sampai 34 tahun. Usia 35 sampai 44 tahun jumlah petani yakni 6,88 juta orang
atau 26,34 persen. Untuk usia 15 sampai 24 tahun ada 229,94 ribu.
Jika hanya sedikit anak muda yang mau jadi petani, apa yang
salah? Kenyataannya sektor pertanian semakin hari semakin kalah bersaing.
0,98 hektare. Pada sensus 2003, petani Indonesia tinggal memiliki 0,7
hektare. Di Pulau Jawa bahkan hanya memiliki 0,3 hektare.
Memang sulit dipungkiri, pada umumnya semakin maju sebuah
negara, sektor pertanian cenderung ditinggalkan.
ketahanan pangan.
Bagaimanapun Indonesia
memiliki lahan yang relatif sempit. Di Indonesia, rasio luas lahan pertanian
per kapita hanya 560 meter per segi. Bandingkan dengan Thailand yang mencapai 5.600 meter
persegi per kapita atau selisih 10 kali lipat. Artinya, jika per kepala
keluarga di Thailand
memiliki 3 hektare lahan pertanian, maka di Indonesia hanya 0,3 hektare.
Industri pengolahan produk pertanian harus terus dilakukan. Indonesia
meemiliki kemampuan untuk meningkatkan nilai tambah pertanian seperti dilakukan
beberapa pengusaha.
tanah Indonesia
yang sudah berhasil membawa nama bangsa. Tapi masih banyak hasil pertanian yang
belum diolah. Inilah tantangan pengusaha dan sarjana pertanian untuk
meningkatkan nilai tambah semaksimal mungkin.

Indonesia Berhasil Jalankan Program MDGs
mata dunia.
Presiden SBY bersama Presiden Liberia Ellen Johnson Sirleaf
perdana menteri, mantan perdana menteri, aktivis sosial, termasuk wartawan.
Sesuai data
Namun, ada tantangan yang masih harus diperjuangkan. Persentase penduduk di bawah garis kemiskinan masih 12,49 persen (data Oktober 2012). Sedangkan target MDGs adalah 7,55 persen. Masih terjadi 228 ibu meninggal per 100 ribu kelahiran hidup.
Utusan Khusus Presiden Republik

Bagaimana Cara Mengurangi Kesenjangan
Pertumbuhan ekonomi yang tinggi menjadi impian setiap negara,
termasuk Indonesia .
Pantas disyukuri, ekonomi Indonesia
terus tumbuh, meski sebagian besar
negara lain dilanda krisis.
Data
Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS), menunjukkan
jiwa.
Angka kemiskinan memang sempat turn hingga 22,5 juta (13,7
persen) pada 1996. Tapi jumlah penduduk
Bambang Yudhoyono, penurunan angka kemiskinan semakin nyata. Mari kita cek
kembali data resmi BPS.
juta penduduk.
Tahun 2011, angka kemiskinan turun lahi tinggal 12,49 persenatau 30,02 juta jiwa. Pad tahun 2012, jumlah orang
penduduk Indonesia .
Mengapa angka kemiskinan terus menurun?
Program
kemiskinan seringkali kurang terekspose media, sehingga masyarakat kurang
menyadarinya.
Program-program kemiskinan dibagi menjadi 4 (empat) bagian. Klaster pertama, berupa Program Bantuan Sosial
meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat miskin.

To Be Better Airport
What
happens at the Soekarno-Hatta airport in Tangerang, Banten, Indonesia, very sad, there was
a power failure there, Sunday (16/12). PT Angkasa Pura II which
managing the airport stated
fire affected uninterruptible power supply (UPS).
UPS burning causes interference with the scouting system is automated, Jakarta Automated Air Traffic System (JAATS) for 15 minutes. Therefore, the number of landings and take offs at Soekarno-Hatta was restricted to prevent unwanted things.
At exactly 17:10 pm, the power supply to the scouting JAATS recover. However, due to the start-up process, it takes some time until around 18:05 pm for full operation.
There were 63 flight delayed. In details, 21 aircraft would depart from Soekarno-Hatta, 18 aircraft in flight and would land atSoekarno-Hatta Airport ,
two flights had to be diverted to other airports. Moreover, 22 aircraft would depart
from another airport Soekarno-Hatta
Airport .
There was already a formal apology from PT Angkasa Pura over the incident. An apology is clearly not enough. Flight disruptions not only happen this one time. Power failures at Soekarno-Hatta happened several times in the past, including in August 2010, April 2012 and September 2012.
Disturbance at Soekarno-Hatta, one of the busiest airports inAsia , it is
very unfortunate and alarming. Passenger traffic at the
Soekarno-Hatta continues to rise. In 2006, number of passengers
only 30.8 million, but by 2011 had ballooned to 51.5 million people.
The increase in the number of passengers is very reasonable, considering the favorite air transport for people with increasing social welfare. New fleet is also growing with the increasing transportation by planes.
Central Bureau of Statistics said in 2005 there were 440,520 aircraft arrival and aircraft departure 453,177 times. In 2010 the number increased, the arrival 574.423 and departure 576.200 times.
For the number of passengers has increased dramatically. In 2005, the number of departing passengers 29.8 million people, the arrival of 24.8 million people and 1.1 million people in transit. In 2010, the passenger departures are 48.9 million, arrival 50.5 million and transit 5.7 million people.
Do not be late, the whole range of ministers and institutions should conduct a thorough evaluation aspects of the service at the airport, not just at the Soekarno-Hatta airport but also in the other. In fact, disruption of power outages also occurred at other airports.
Just for example, in May 2011, the airport Hanandjoeddin Tanjungpandan,Pacific Islands
also experienced power outages, in May 2011. Bali's
Ngurah Rai airport, Bali also had experienced
a power outage on 26 November 2012. If the service is reduced, the
risk could be increased as well.
Immediately act. Equipment that is not worth having to be replaced. Some equipment, including at Soekarno-Hatta had exceeded the age economy. Although these tools can be used, but the risk of damage is certainly greater than the new. Of course, to replace various equipment required investment, and it is not cheap.
We are grateful to the various problems faced by the airport handled properly without causing casualties. But once again, act! Do not get us to act when it is too late.

Indonesia’s Fuel Dilemma
As the emerging market,
More people buy cars or motorcycles thank to easily credit facilities from lender like banks and others financial institutions. The selling figures of cars, motorcycles, buses and trucks have been rising fantastically. In 2000, automotive industries sold 18,9 million unit, then risen up to 76,9 millions unit in 2011.
The amount vehicles are consuming very much fuel (premium and diesel fuel) which receive subsidy by government. This year (2012), people consume fuel 45, 3 million kiloliter. Next year,
Indonesia Statistic Body said crude oil import for October this year up to US$1,073 millions. It rises 38 percent compared with last figure of US$779 million. Oil import has been negative impact for rising current account deficit to US$1, 55 billion in October.
Money for subsidized fuel should be used for building public projects like housing, transportations and constructing bridges and road. One side,
Now day, gasoline price in
The government had send proposal to legislative body for rising gasoline price around 30 percent since last year, but most parties did not like the idea. The new price would save money about USD6 billion that could build road 3 thousand kilo meter or millions house for poor people.
Rising fuel price policy is very sensitive and politically not easy for representative member to decide.
Two years before vote pooling for legislative and presidency (2014), no parties will take a risk with launching the unpopular policy. Ruling parties in coalition: Demokrat, Golkar, PPP, PKB, PKS are not very interested to rise fuel price. They tend to choosing safety road with adding budget for subsidized fuel.
The very low fuel price is risky policy in a long term, not only with mathematical budget neither in social habit. People tend to consume fuel with inappropriate manner. One family has more than one motorcycles and people are not interested to walking even for just hundreds meters. More students without driving license are riding motorcycle, followed by hiking incidences and victims, including death cases.
Government has good transportation policies but can't be implemented easily. Mass-rapid transportation program had been launched decades ago by government with no development in real field. Projects faced many obstacles notably land releasing.

Difficulties of Reducing Consumption Subsidized Oil
The community is still wasteful use of subsidized fuel. This is very serious problem for Indonesian government. Reports from the Ministry of Energy, BPH Migas and Pertamina show, quota of subsidized fuel discharged December 22, 2012.
The quota increased from 40 million kiloliters (KL) to 44.04 million KL for availability until December 31, 2012. If discharged on December 22, there is a shortage of subsidized fuel for eight days this year.
Subsidized fuel is a strategic issue for Indonesia. That not only affects the economic but also political and security issues. Pertamina, state owned institution attempt to control quotas in some areas di Indonesia actually cause panic. As a result, the public buy out of control subsidized fuel at the pump for fear of running out. The panic occurred in various areas such as Batam, Kuala Pinang, the Pacific Islands, and Jambi.
Government was thinking of the right options to control the consumption of subsidized fuel. Government launched several ideas such as the reduction of the supply of subsidized fuel bit by bit in order to public switch to non-subsidized fuel. In practice, people thought there was a shortage of fuel and causing long lines at the pump.
Other ideas, Pertamina planned program one day without subsidized fuel on December 2, 2012, in Java, Bali and other major cities. The program called the National Movement for Free Day Subsidized Premium. Five cities that do not serve the subsidized fuel sales are Medan, Batam, Palembang, Balikpapan and Makassar. The program will save money Rp 75 billion.
Tota fuel and
electricity subsidies estimated at Rp305, 9 billion by the end of this year.
This is the big money for Indonesian government, which should build
infrastructure project for inviting foreign investors more and more.
However, a good program can often not well implemented in the field. This occurs because of inadequate socialization. Many people do not know that Pertamina control subsidized fuel at some petrol stations.
Without explanation means, people will panic when they could not find subsidized fuel at the pump. The panic will be seen from the length queue in pump stations, they regard subsidized fuel has run out.
Program of one day without fuel subsidy December 2 will also require good socialization. Behavior toward the plan may not be as expected. For example, people might just buy oil a day before 2 December, and that could affect the line at the pump.
Many ideas launched with not good preparations. Call it the plan prohibits luxury cars using subsidized fuel. Other plans, the whole car black plate premium prohibited using subsidized oil. Solving this problem is not very easy for Indonesian government that has policy of subsidized oil for many years.

Why Oil and Gas Very Important for Indonesia
The decision of the Constitutional Court declared the
Executive Agency for Upstream Oil and Gas (BP Migas) has disbanded. Aftermath
of the decision on Tuesday (13/11), oil and gas operations ceased 48 hours or
two days and two nights. Cessation of upstream oil and gas operations to cost
around Rp1 trillion.
The government acted quickly, establishing successor agency BP Migas. Indonesian government deserves appreciation for acting quickly so the loss was not greater. The government then formed the Task Force The Oil and Gas Upstream Executing (SKSP Migas) under the Ministry of Energy. If the investment climate is not maintained, it is feared they will think twice to invest in Indonesia.

The government then formed the Task Force The Oil and Gas Upstream Executing (SKSP Migas) under the Ministry of Energy. If the investment climate is not maintained, it is feared they will think twice to invest in Indonesia.
Investment in oil and gas is relatively good. In 2010, the
realization of upstream oil and gas investment reaches US $ 11.03 billion. In 2011, realization increased of 23 per cent
to US$ 13.59 billion. At this year's target will go up to US$ 15.8 billion.
2013 oil and gas investment target of US$ 17 billion.
Oil and gas sector remains one of the main state revenues. According to official data of BP Migas (before dissolved), in 2010, oil and gas revenues accounted for US$ 26.49 billion. The number is higher than the target of US$ 26.06 billion.
In 2011, revenues increased to US$ 35.79 billion, or 10 percent higher than the budget target of 2011. Budget 2012, established oil and gas revenues of US$ 33.485 billion. BP Migas predicted year 2012 revenues from oil and gas will reach US$ 34.96 billion. Government targets state revenues from oil and gas sector in 2013 reached US$ 31.75 billion. Over the last ten years, revenues from oil and gas targets are always reached.
Of course, all departments and agencies need to work hard to convince investors that the oil and gas investment climate remains conducive. Long-term National Energy Policy said in 2025 the use of petroleum in 2025 is estimated at 1.34 million BPOD, while for natural gas of 11.2 BSCFD.
The Government has made a strategy for achieving the projected oil and gas production in accordance with the national energy needs by 2025. Various programs have been designed as increased activity of G & G and General Survey in an open area, offers a new working area, the optimization of exploration and exploitation PSC commitments, accelerate the approval process POD, WP & B, AFE and Procurement Operations.
There is also a program optimization of existing production fields and accelerate the production of new fields, re-opening the field / old wells and increasing marginal field development, and the coordination and synchronization of regulations with related agencies such as the Forestry Department, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Environment and Local Government. The number of parties involved, requires cooperation and better coordination. Rihad Wiranto
